Packing
You should aim for your pack to be no more than 1/3 of your body weight
It is essential that you organise your equipment before you pack it, use dry bags or zip lock bags, don't pack your waterproof or day's food at the bottom, put small items such as knife, pen and paper in bags that can be easily pulled out of the main compartment or pockets. Be ruthless with what you throw out you will be pleased with the weight saving. Continue to keep your pack organised throughout the expedition. Remember your training and note down any extra items that may be useful.
