PACKCHECK 

THIS OCCURS WEDNESDAY (AFTER SCHOOL) THE DAY BEFORE THE THURSDAY CAMP 

1. WEDNESDAY MORNING - bring your rucksack FULLY PACKED to school- leave it in designated storage area - which this year will be in the PE department. 

2. At the end of school collect your rucksack - then we will : 

(i) check your group has enough food 
(ii) check that everyone in your group has 2 bottles of water in their pack. 
(iii) lend you a sleeping mat to pack on/in your rucksack  
(iv) give your group 2 tents and 2 stoves and a fule bottle - which you need to pack in your rucksack
(v) weigh your rucksack - which must not be more than 1/4 your body weight 

once your rucsack has been checked and passed you can return it to the storage area go home and relax ! 

please note that once your pack is stored that there will be no access to your rucksack during the day -thursday - it will only be available to take to the transport area to take to the camp  

on thursday - bring a change of clothes with you -  we will leave as close to 2.45 pm as we can so your must change quickly -you will be able to leave your school clothes in physics lab 2 which will be locked over night  

- collect your rucksack and go to the transport area as directed- 

we suggest that you bring a light snack like a museli bar which you can eat on the way to the drive to the camp area.
