You need  about 8000 to 10000 kJ per day

You should try to balance your food types and include : proteins, carbohydrates and fibre in your meals  
Pasta is a good dish to cook on a camp expedition 

very easy to do 

1 set up and light the stove 
2 add water 
3 boil water (add salt)
4 add the pasta and boil for about 10 to 15 mins 
5 optional - add tuna and tasty pasta sauce
