Some common questions and answers 

How long is service for Bronze award ? 

Service is usually for one hour a week for a minimum time of 3 months 

Can I complete my service for Bronze in 1.5 months if I do two hours a week ? 

No as the mimium TIME for service is 3 months - so in order to acheive the service requirement you must complete a service for at least 3 months....

Do I have to complete at least one of the physical,service or skill until the expedition?

No,since the minimum time is 3 months, you won't be able to but you would have to complete them until the party which is usually in March in order to go to the next level- Silver award.

Do I have to start Bronze in year 10?

No, you can start with international award at any age between 15 and 25. And you can complete the Bronze level whenever you want to.

Can I do skill,service and physical outside school?

Yes you can do it outside and inside school as long as you have an adult to supervise you and preferably not a family member.

Will there be showers or toilets on the Bronze expedition?

No, You won't be able to take a shower and if you need to use the toilet, you'll have to dig a whole in the ground, do your business in there and then cover it with sand (bring a packet of wet wipes). It's the desert remember?

Can I do different physicals or skills at the same time for the 3 months?

No, you have to continue on with one physical or skill because the aim is for you to keep progressing at what you're doing.
