FIRST AID KIT

Basic materials for a first aid kit

INDIVDUAL KIT ( EVERY STUDENT MUST CARRY THE FOLLOWING)

1.         20 sticky plasters of various sizes

2.      A small packet of antiseptic wipes

3.      saftey pins

4.      Suncream

5.      Blister kit

6.    cotton wool

7. small hand sanitizer

8. 4 panadol tablets

9    sterile dressing or eye

10   pair of surgical plastic gloves

11 1 crepe roller bandage

EACH GROUP should also carry

1 A triangular bandage(s) (PER GROUP)

2. A small pair of scissors (PER GROUP)*

3. A Pair of tweezers (PER GROUP)*

4. A whistle (PER GROUP)

5. Aloe Vera cream small (for cooling the skin) (PER GROUP)

6 An Emergency rehydration or isotonic energy drink in powder form (PER GROUP)

7. A Suisse army knife (PER GROUP)*

*

* if you bring a suisse army knife with scissors and tweezers on them you wont need extra scissors or tweezers

** it is also suggested that the group bring a small (compact) mirror between them. Some of the new small tissues boxes have these small mirrors on the back of them
